Welcome to another edition of the Pro Hunting Safaris newsletter. We have had an action packed month hunting buffalo and securing quota for the 2016 hunting season to make the 2016 season even better.
We have also experienced some severe drought in some parts of South Africa. With these droughts, drastic game management needs to take place, which has allowed Pro Hunting Safaris to release quite a large number of old and non-breeding buffalo cows into the the hunting market. This has created a exciting opportunity for hunters to take advantage of experiencing this thrill and excitement of hunting cape buffalo at more affordable prices.
Our dangerous game hunts are normally conducted within a Big5 Reserve creating some extra excitement of the possibility of walking into a pride of lions or a herd of elephants. We fully believe in the spirit of fair chase in all of our hunting endeavours and our stance on conservation through hunting.
We have just had a estimated 43” buffalo bull released to us to be hunted in a Private Nature reserve that is 2500 ha / 6250 acres in size in northern Limpopo, South Africa. The reserve has over 200 buffalo roaming around along with rhino and a host of plains game. There is also a white lion project in the reserve. The reserve wants a new bull to take over the breeding in one of the herds to introduce new genes. This will be a very exciting and challenging hunt as the herd is around 60-70 in size. They want the bull to be hunted by June/July 2016 at the latest. The hunt will consist of 5 hunting days (6 nights) all inclusive for US$ 11 500
